Experts have called for the “cold-like” Covid-19 symptoms affecting the double stab to be added to the government’s official list.
The most common symptoms of coronavirus affecting those who have had two doses of the vaccine have been announced, but the three listed symptoms have not been officially announced on the NHS website.
Professor Tim Spector, an epidemiologist at King’s College London, said: “According to data from the ZOE COVID study, fully vaccinated people now make up nearly 30% of positive cases.

So it is important to be aware of the symptoms of Covid after vaccination.
“Our data shows that post-vaccination infections are more like a cold than the flu, and the main symptoms are runny nose, headache, sneezing, sore throat and loss of smell.”
Professor Spector added in his study summary this week: “We are once again calling on the government to add these cold-like symptoms to their list to help educate the public and capture more cases.”
Headaches, sore throat, and runny nose have been widely reported, although the official list of symptoms still includes only three.
The NHS says the official Covid symptoms are a persistent, newly developing cough, as well as a high temperature or a high temperature.
A lack of taste or smell has also been widely noted.
A runny nose was noted in 75% of the study participants, while headaches ranked second with 73%, followed by sneezing in 67%, then sore throats in 53%, with a loss of sense of smell in 51%.
