Mikel Arteta named Arsenal’s squad for today’s Premier League match outside Manchester City.

Arsenal entered the game in search of their first points of the season after disappointing 2-0 defeats to both newcomers Brentford and London rivals Chelsea.

Arsenal regained their form in the middle of the week with a resounding 6-0 win over championship team West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup.

That win could give Mikel Arteta – and treble champion Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – confidence ahead of an uphill task against the Premier League champions.

Aubameyang will lead the Arsenal streak at the Etihad Stadium, ably backed by Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and recent extra Martin Odegaard.
