‘Justice for Timo’ – Chelsea fans disagree over what Thomas Tuchel did against Liverpool

Chelsea has resumed this season from where it left off in the past.

The Blues finished the 2020/21 season in fantasy style, finishing fourth in the Premier League before overcoming the odds to beat Manchester City 1-0 in the Champions League final thanks to a first-half striker from German star Kai Havertz.

Thomas Tuchel’s side continued their European dominance by defeating Unai Emery’s Villarreal on penalties in this month’s Super Cup.

They followed this up with two convincing Premier League victories over their London rivals, beating Crystal Palace 3-0 before inflicting a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta last Sunday.

Club record holder Romelu Lukaku, who joined Inter Milan for £97.5m earlier this month, netted a netizen on his debut for the club after bullying Arsenal defender Pablo Mari in the majority of the competition.

Now, Tuchel’s men travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, hoping to emulate their away performance with the Reds last season that saw them reclaim all three points thanks to a goal from England star Mason Mount.

The former Paris Saint-Germain coach named his starting line-up for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the quick absence of striker Timo Werner, a decision that frustrated a large section of the Blues, who argued his direct style could have been a useful resource. In the second half.

Chelsea team confirmed: Mendy. Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Kante; Jorginho, Alonso; many; Havertz, Lukaku. Subs: Kepa, Chilwell, Chalobah, Silva, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Werner
