A desperate search has begun for a teenager last seen in a shopping mall in Greater Manchester.

13-year-old Keegan Welford was last seen at Trafford Centre.

He is from Leicester but has recently been living in Manchester.

It is believed that Keegan may have returned to Leicester, and we urge anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact Leicestershire Police.

Keegan is 4 feet 12 inches tall, slender build and has short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, white shirt, black track pants, and black Nike sneakers.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, citing incident 476 of August 23.
