While there will be many deals struck between two teams within the Premier League this summer, each team added together totals 510 transfers (including loans).
Chelsea was at the top of the tree, who made 42 deals. What makes their total even more impressive is that they only signed three players, which means 39 of them have made it through the exit door of Stamford Bridge.
There were many title makers among them. Tammy Abraham has moved to Roma to play under Jose Mourinho, Fiaco Tomori will also be in Serie A with Milan, while Mark Joy and Kurt Zouma have joined other clubs in London in search of regular football.
And the list goes on. Given the nearly four players in the starting line-up who left Chelsea this summer, one name suddenly stands out: Victor Moses, £4.3m for Spartak Moscow.
Was Victor Moses still at Chelsea? Yes, believe it or not, nine years after moving from Wigan to West London, the Nigeria international was still a Chelsea player.

The Blues had nine coaches (including goalkeepers) at the time and Moses played just over 11 games for two of them. His football career has seen him join six clubs on loan since joining Chelsea, Liverpool being the first of them in September 2013.
At the time it seemed like a reasonable acquisition by the Reds. Luis Suarez was serving a suspension for biting Branislav Ivanovic in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea at the end of the previous season, while Raheem Sterling has not established himself as a starting player every week.
Indeed, when the Reds were first in the game after Moses arrived, away at Swansea City, the loaner was to the left of the attacking midfield trio in Brendan Rodgers’ 4-2-3-1 formation while Sterling was on the bench.
Liverpool’s new No. 12 seemed to start running for the club. He created three goal-scoring opportunities in the opening half hour – including a clear chance for Daniel Sturridge – and then gave the Reds the lead in the 36th minute.
If any of the Kopites were skeptical about his potential, Target would have lowered their doubts. Musa intercepted Jonjo Shelvey’s pass on the halfway line and dribble through it to score from the edge of the ‘D’ outside the penalty area.

Only six players from Liverpool made their debut in a Premier League match and scored goals, so the loaned Chelsea player joined a small club (which now also includes Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah).
But the first appearance of Moses was the height of his time with the Reds. He started the next five games in all competitions, taking six shots and creating only two chances in the four league games in that span.
While he continued to emerge as a substitute, Moses’ fate at Liverpool was actually decided in the first two weeks of December. He started what was the Reds’ worst performance of the season (3-1 defeat at Hull City), then Sterling scored in three of the next four league games to cement his place in Rodgers’ side as the second half of the season approached. in the show.
The winger was on loan in the squad for two FA Cup matches in January, and opened the scoring at Bournemouth in Liverpool’s last game for which he was part of the starting line-up.

Then, like fellow summers Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas, Moses was largely ignored by Rodgers. The Liverpool boss insisted that Moses had a role to play when he challenged that in January 2014, but this has not proven to be the case.
Could he be more useful in challenging the Reds title? They won most of their matches in the first round, although it was an unused substitute for draws with Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.
As he was ineligible to lose to Chelsea, the only other game in which Moses appeared in which the Reds did not take three points had fallen into a legend like Crystanbul, and even then, he only played the last four minutes.
But after the explosive start to his brief career with Liverpool, it’s still hard not to wonder if he should have done better for both Moses and the club.
