The 54-year-old’s death is being investigated as a drug overdose, and according to TMZ, the police are looking for the actor’s dealer.
An official autopsy has yet to be performed on Michael, who is best known for his role as Omar Little in the popular TV crime drama, but it appears the presence of drugs was at play at the scene.

An apparent drug overdose appears to have led to a criminal investigation as the publication claims law enforcement sources have confirmed that ‘the police are trying to locate the drug dealer’.
An inside source told TMZ: “NYPD detectives are conducting an investigation into the origins of the drug cops found at the scene of the actor’s death over the weekend.
“This is believed to be heroin dependent.”
