Solskjaer confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will play against Newcastle

Cristiano Ronaldo has been photographed arriving at the Lowry Hotel alongside the rest of his Manchester United teammates as the Portuguese star prepares to make his second appearance at Old Trafford more than a decade after his departure.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus man sealed an impressive return to the club at the end of the summer transfer window and is now preparing to don the famous red shirt with the number seven at the back once again, to play against Newcastle United – coincidentally, the side where Ronaldo scored his first hat-trick for United.

The Portugal international was training with his new teammates this week for the first time since sealing his comeback, leaving Italian giants Juventus after three years in Turin.
