Aaron Ramsdale: It may have been a surprising choice for Bernd Leno against the Premier League, but the choice was justified with a decent offer. A beautiful moment for Cruyff to get away from pressure by Teemu Pukki in the first half showed the ability with the ball he was brought in. 7.
Takehiro Tomiyasu: A very promising start from the Japan international who has often stayed deep in Arsenal’s attack. He won a lot of aerial duels and looked tidy enough on possession, despite the occasional loose touch we’d get on our nerves. Nice aerobic efforts in the first half showed some attacking threat as well. 7.
Ben White: A really confident display of the ball from the England international who has played some great balls in the back. He has barely been air-tested due to Pukki’s standing so it will be interesting to see how he faces Burnley next week. 7.
Gabriel: A really confident comeback from the Brazilian who has often seemed tyrannical. It has to be said that it hasn’t been hard-tested, but the Arsenal back-four team appears to be much safer with it. 7.

Kieran Tierney: The usual trick of driving to the sideline and whipping crosses from the left worked well for the most part. There are not enough men in the box to benefit though. 6.
Albert Sambi Lokonga: Tidy enough in possession, with some nice balls forward, less back and sides than those before him, but hopefully more decisiveness will come with time. 6.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Some really great masking balls in the back during the second half to come in behind the Norwich defence. Good showing from the England international in his favorite position, then good variety after Tomiyasu left to switch to right-back. 7.

Nicolas Pepe: Perhaps the most consistent threat to Arsenal throughout the match and his sheer force of will was crucial to the goal. Show some beautiful moments of defensive awareness to cover Tomiyasu. It seems his stature is finally growing within the Gunners group. 7.
Martin Odegaard: A fantastic home debut for the Norway international who has set Arsenal’s style of play throughout. Some beautiful balls over the top for Aubameyang and the great switches that Norwich’s grueling defense ran into. 8.
Bukayo Saka: Some nice moments to get away from the opposition defenders and I had some good chances early in the second half. A bit quiet for its standards but still a decent offer. 6.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Time and time again the Gabonese striker was falling behind in what seemed like an unwanted task. Ultimately, though, it paid off when he tapped the goal line, allowing his visible fist from rest to smash his duck into the Premier League of the season. 7.

Thomas Partey: He was given the task of managing Arsenal’s midfield more or less on his own through Arteta’s changes but he took it well. It was a surprise that he did not start this time and it will be even more surprising if he does not start next week. 6.
Emile Smith Rowe: The England Under-21 national team player showed the urgency of Arsenal to push the team forward after coming on in the second half. A good cameo for a player who was unlucky not to start. 6.
Cedric: He came too late to affect the match. unavailable
