Lucy Mecklenburg offered an update on her son Roman after his alarming rush into the hospital.

The little boy, who turned his age in March, was moved to intensive care, this week, after TOWIE’s Lucy and partner Adam Thoma discovered their son was “blue in his crib.”

Lucy said Friday morning that the baby – who was put on a ventilator – has now been home for three days and is recovering well.

Former reality star Lucy posted a snap of Roman sitting cuddling a bunny to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Thank you for all your lovely messages. [sic] Our perfect boy.”

Yesterday, her mother Lucy shared a heartbreaking photo of her son being connected to an IV in the hospital and opening in the worrisome few days she and partner Ryan endured.

She wrote: “Some of you may have noticed that we haven’t been browsing social media lately.

“A little over a week ago I found Roman blue in his bed – probably every parent’s worst nightmare. Without going into too many details, Roman ended up being taken to intensive care in St Mary’s, London and put on a ventilator.

Thank God we are all at home now and Roman is back to his rude nature.

“I am forever grateful to the Ambulance Service for arriving so quickly, at Basildon Hospital, the CATS (Children Transport Services) team St Mary’s London PICU* Cosmic Charity (Children and Children in Intensive Care).

“I would do something in return and help other sick children and their families.

“I would like to help out with the new Children’s Garden area at Basildon Hospital because it is currently unusable and I know it will bring a lot of joy to the children over words.

The little boy was in intensive care after Lucy and partner Ryan found out that Roman was ‘blue in his bed’ Lucy said the family was spending quality time together after the worrisome hospital stay.

“I would also like to support Cosmic Charity with a donation from us, and a promise that I will support this charity as much as I can in the future. If you are generous enough to support this wonderful charity, there is a Just Giving page on my bio that could mean the world to me if you made a donation Which is why Cosmic Charity raised big money for the pediatric intensive care unit at St Mary’s Hospital in London where Roman was taken when Basildon couldn’t do more for him.

“The charity is helping by funding high-tech life-saving equipment that the NHS cannot fund, and supporting on-site accommodations for parents and families which I can vouch for is greatly appreciated by parents of children in intensive care for some much-needed relief. To them knowing they are so close; training and education for health professionals and clinical research into life-threatening childhood illnesses.

“Funded incubators for children in intensive care, and hundreds of hours of counseling for families and front-line staff.”

She added, “Although as a family we may never fully recover, we feel very fortunate to have our special child at home in our arms and it has truly opened our eyes to all the hard working superheroes in our hospitals who dedicate their lives to helping others and how lucky we are that We have this great medical service free for all of us in the UK. Thank you NHS and all the charities that support the NHS.”
