3.1 earthquake September 24 9:19 am (GMT -7)
Just 22 minutes ago, a 3.1-magnitude earthquake occurred near Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada, USA. The tremor was recorded on the morning of Friday, September 24, 2021, at 9:19 a.m. local time, at a very shallow depth of 4.7 miles below the surface, and the event was submitted by the US Geological Survey, the first seismological agency. To report this, our monitoring service identified a second report from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) which also mentioned a 3.1-magnitude earthquake, and according to preliminary calculations, we don’t expect many people to feel the earthquake and that they did. Do not cause any harm. At Mina (pop 160, 21 miles away), and Tonopah (located 2,500 miles), the earthquake may not have been felt.
