A very shallow 4.2 earthquake was reported at noon near Tagbilaran, Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). The earthquake struck on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 1:30 pm local time at a very shallow depth. It is one kilometer. Shallow earthquakes are more strongly felt than deep earthquakes because they are closer to the surface.
