But ITV says John will continue to host other shows on the channel, including All Star Musicals.
“We thank John for his two amazing years at Dancing on Ice Panel and are thrilled to be working with him again as host of the upcoming All Star music specials,” an ITV spokesperson told The Sun.
A spokesperson for John added, “John is delighted to be back at ITV as host on the new All Star Musicals show.”
John, who previously competed on Dancing On Ice as a contestant in 2006, joined the show’s panel in 2020 succeeding Jason Gardiner.
A new judge has yet to be announced, with the rest of the panel currently made up of diversity dancer Ashley Banjo and Olympic skiers Christopher Dean and Jane Torville.
Dancing On Ice is set to debut on TV in 2022.
A casting selection for the upcoming run has not been announced. Rumored list of celebrities include actress Cory Sally Denivore, Toby Arumolaran of Love Island and Mrs. Brown Boys star Gary Hollywood.
Hosted by Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, the series usually airs on Sunday nights starting in January.
As always, every week 12 celebrities will take to the rink live alongside professional skaters in a bid to win the plate.
The final round saw DJ Sonny Jay win the title in a final with actress Faye Brooks and athlete Colin Jackson.
