Nicki Minaj seems to call Lee Ann Pinnock a “jealous clown”

Jesse Nelson admitted that she never wanted to cause offense after being accused of “black hunting” in her solo music video for the first time.

The 30-year-old former Little Mix singer has been criticized by people online for her appearance in the video for her debut single called Boyz.

Many have taken to social media to accuse the singer of black hunting, when a non-black person tries to appear black.

However, Jesse denied that she was wearing a fake tan and said during an Instagram Live with famous rapper Nicki Minaj that she went to Antigua weeks before the video was shot, so she actually nailed it.

Her comments come after former classmate Lee Ann Pinnock warned her about black hunting.

During the live broadcast, Jesse said, “Personally I want to say that my intention was never to offend people of color with this video and my song because like I said, growing up as a little girl, this is the music I listened to.

“These are the videos I’ve seen and thought they were the best. For me personally, the 90s/2000s hip-hop was the best era of music.

“I just wanted to celebrate that. I just wanted to celebrate this era of music because it’s what I love.”

She continued, “It was never, ever, my intention to offend anyone and honestly, I really offended that I offended people and actually, like, hurt people’s feelings just by honestly celebrating something I love.”

The singer admitted that she felt lucky to tan so easily in the sun and claimed that Lee Ann had previously commented on how she tans.

She also said that her natural hair is curly after some complained that she changed her style in the music video.

Jesse added, “I didn’t really think I was doing anything wrong, because my hair is naturally curly.”

When addressing alleged comments Leigh-Anne made about black hunting, Jesy said, “It’s tough for me because I’ve been in a group with two women of color for nine years and they weren’t brought to me until the last music video I did with them.”

Nicki Minaj has defended Jesse vigorously, appearing with her on her new single. The rapper even fired harsh criticism at the remaining members of Little Mix.

After the live broadcast, the anaconda singer, 38, wrote on social media: “Don’t call out things when you take advantage of your personal revenge for your company. Call them as soon as you see Chile. Don’t wait a decade after you’ve made millions with this guy.”

Jesse quit Little Mix in December of last year after nine successful years with the band. At the time, they had sold over 50 million records worldwide with hits including Shout Out To My Ex and Secret Love Song.

She said the reason she left the band was because it was affecting her mental health.

She recently admitted that she does not currently speak with remaining band members Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards.
