Tottenham Hotspur Nuno Espirito Santo will return to action tomorrow with a trip to Newcastle United.
A two-week hiatus from the Premier League has expired following the expiration of the international break.
Several Spurs players have been in international service, and there is some bad news that Espirito Santo has to contend with, as two players have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
In his pre-match press conference, while not going into such detail, the Portuguese admitted there were problems at Tottenham before facing the magpie.
“After the international break there are always huge issues that happen. We have problems but I won’t say them before the match,” he told the media.
The players remain anonymous but it is understood that the club is currently confident that there will be no close contact issues requiring the isolation of other players.

To make matters worse, a number of South America’s Espirito Santo are also highly skeptics about tomorrow’s game.
Plus, his weekend opponents are skyrocketing after Mike Ashley finally agreed to sell the club after 14 years at St James’ Park.
Hence, the Spurs boss will want to select the best possible team available to him and with that in mind, the London football team has taken a look at the current injury status of his team.
Stephen Bergwijn
Bergwijn took his time to recover after sustaining an injury during the last round of international matches.
The last international match of the Netherlands with Tottenham was the European confrontation with the French team Rennes, where he had a foot problem.
What Espirito Santo said: “He joined us yesterday. He’s totally integrated into the group. He trained well yesterday, trained well today. No pain. So it’s about getting back to his highest level of fitness, but he’s on his way…”
In response to a question about whether the Newcastle match came too early: “We don’t know, we don’t know, we don’t know, because as I said, first of all we all have to be together, then we’ll evaluate, prepare and decide.”
Expected return date: Unknown.
Ryan Sessegnon
Sejson was also out of action a few weeks ago after the winger sustained an injury while on international duty with the England under-21 team.

The 21-year-old hopes to be back in action sooner rather than later, but Espirito Santo was unable to tell the media when he would be back when talking about him earlier in the month.
What Espirito Santo said: “We don’t know [when he will return]. They are getting better day by day.”
Expected return date: Unknown.
Ben Davies
Davies pulled out of Wales’ squad due to illness last week, but was photographed training with the first team on Thursday.
What was said: “Ben Davis and David Brooks had to withdraw from the team due to illness. Brysiwch wella hogia! (Recovered soon),” read the tweet on Wales’ official Twitter account.
Expected return date: Newcastle (A).
Matt Doherty
The former Wolves man was forced to retire at halftime during the Republic of Ireland’s 4-0 win over Qatar. He was replaced by Cyrus Christie.
Expected return date: Unknown.

Christian Romero, Giovanni Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal
Though not injured, the South American squad may struggle to be ready for tomorrow.
Romero and Lo Celso played for Peru in the early hours of Friday morning (BST) and still needed time to get back to North London.
Meanwhile, Royal faces a situation similar to his Brazilian showdown with Uruguay just an hour later. Colombia played Ecuador on Thursday night, but Sanchez is facing the exact same problem.
Expected return date(s): Next week.
