GTA Trilogy release date confirmed

The release date for GTA: The Trilogy has been confirmed via the Rockstar Store page.

The store page for the redesigned trilogy – which features updated versions of GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas – has two different dates depending on which version of the title you’re buying. The digitally available PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS5 versions will launch on November 11, 2021. If you only get the physical PS4 or Xbox One versions, your game will launch on December 6, a little less than a month later.

Rockstar has yet to publicly confirm these dates, and an announcement is expected later today in line with GTA 3’s 20th anniversary. However, it seems unlikely that those dates will change – not only is Rockstar’s own storefront, there’s also a countdown It confirms that the games will begin around 08:00 PT / 11:00 ET / 16:00 GMT (17:00 GMT) on November 11.

The store page also reveals that if you purchase the GTA remaster trilogy from the Rockstar Store (either via the web or the Rockstar Games Launcher) by January 5, 2022, you will receive a $10 coupon to use on any other Rockstar game priced at $15 or more.

The system requirements for games for the PC version of the game have also been confirmed. Unsurprisingly, you won’t need a lot of hardware to run the 20-year-old trilogy, but Rockstar reports that you’ll need a surprisingly large 45GB of disk space to install all three titles. This is likely a result of the extensive visual upgrades and controls similar to GTA 5 that is rumored to be included in the Remaster.
