An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale struck Diglipur in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Wednesday morning.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 80 kilometers and 90 kilometers south-southeast of Diglipur.

“Quake of magnitude 4.0, occurred on 10-27-2021, 04:56:37 GMT, Latitude: 12.54 & Long: 93.36, Depth: 80 km, Location: 90 km southeast of Diglipur, Andaman and Nicobar Island, India,” he tweeted NCS.
