An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Limassol Wednesday morning, according to the Department of Geological Survey of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The department said in a statement that the epicenter of the quake was the Gerasa region, 15 km northwest of Limassol, at a depth of about 15 km.
The quake was felt across the area, as well as in Paphos and Nicosia, the department said.
