Manchester United continues its preparations for Saturday’s match against Tottenham Hotspur today.
It’s been a tough week for United after the 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool and the mounting pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job, but there was at least some good news in Wednesday’s training session.
Having not been around since the international break after sustaining a thigh injury with France, Raphael Varane is back on the training ground and is pictured having a conversation with Solskjaer.
It is not clear how much he will be involved in the session and whether he will be fit enough for Sunday’s trip to North London, but it is certainly a positive sign.
Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford spoke for the first time since the defeat to Liverpool.
“I can’t lie because you didn’t hear anything from me here because as a United fan I didn’t really know what I was going to say after Sunday,” he tweeted.
“I was embarrassed. I’m embarrassed. Our fans are everything and you don’t deserve it. We’re working hard to try to fix this. We have to redeem ourselves.”
Stay tuned all day for the latest United news.
