8,439,450,46 euros of state aid was transferred to the victims of the earthquake in Crete

Guided by the compensation and support for victims of the September 27, 2021 earthquake in Crete, the Ministry of Finance begins today, November 12, the fifth batch of compensation for state aid beneficiaries.

In particular, it is deposited in bank accounts: 818 beneficiaries, 6,522,902.09 euros as down payment for housing assistance 547 beneficiaries, 1,916.548.37 euros as compensation for household goods.

Thus, the total amount paid today is 8,439,450,46 euros and relates to 824 TIN units. To compensate and support victims in the earthquake-stricken areas of Crete, a total of €27,089,358.38 has been allocated so far to 2,962 citizens (TIN) who have submitted their applications.

Beneficiaries will see the balance in the accounts they have declared in myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) until the evening, depending on each bank’s credit flows.

Prospectively, as the processing of orders and submitted data is completed, new payments will follow in the next time period.

The deadline for submitting applications on the online platform arogi.gov.gr is November 15, 2021.
