Today’s earthquake in Maharashtra hits near Kolhapur
Kolhapur:
A 4.0-magnitude earthquake was reported near Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Monday morning, according to the Indian National Center of Seismology.
The epicenter of the quake was 78 km northwest of Kolhapur in Maharashtra state, the agency said. The earthquake occurred at 2:36 a.m. EDT at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
