Bitcoin Big Token Upgrade Improves Privacy and Security

[ad_1]

Bitcoin just got a big upgrade. As The Block points out, the Bitcoin network upgraded its “Taproot” code a long time ago today (November 14). The update improves privacy and security for complex transactions with new signatures that make it look like any other exchange. Potential thieves or intruders should have trouble recognizing when an unusual move occurred.

The Taproot update should also change the scaling of the Bitcoin network by dropping the existing crypto system. It may be easier for a cryptocurrency to deal with the demand.

This is the first major network code update since 2017, and it may be just in time. While there are some objections to Bitcoin and other forms of digital money, it now has potential users ranging from AMC to El Salvador. Upgrading Bitcoin could help accommodate any newcomers better, not to mention reduce hassle for seasoned crypto traders.
