Microsoft is holding a special Xbox Anniversary event today to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Xbox alongside Halo: Combat Evolved. “While we won’t be announcing any new games, this broadcast will be a special look back at all the memories we’ve shared with the Xbox community over the past two decades,” Microsoft says.
While the event is designed as a celebration and not a news event, that doesn’t mean there won’t be news. Rumor has it that we might see an early beta of the multiplayer game Halo Infinite to celebrate Halo’s 20th year, and a lot of Xbox fans have discovered shady updates to existing Xbox and Xbox 360 originals.
We expect the event to last 30 minutes in total.
When is a good time to celebrate XBOX’s 20th anniversary?
You can tune in to the live stream, which begins at 10AM PT/1PM ET on Monday, November 15th. If you miss the live broadcast, you will be able to get a replay after the event ends.
Where can I view it?
Microsoft hosts broadcasts on the official Xbox channels on YouTube, Twitch, and its Facebook page. The above YouTube stream has been included for your convenience.
