Meghan Markle has told how ‘happy’ she is with Prince Harry in California even though she would like something to ease her daughter Lillipet’s teething pain.

Ellen DeGeneres was interviewing the Duchess of Sussex who joked she should try tequila in a preview of their talk, which will be broadcast in full on Thursday.

This is Meghan’s second major interview since she moved with Harry to the US last year, where she was highly critical of the royal family while chatting with Oprah Winfrey.

But in a short clip from her interview with her longtime friend Elaine, the conversation centered on her new life and how difficult her start as an actress was.

She said she was looking for “anything to ease” Lillipet’s teething pain and Eileen replied, “Tequila, anything.”

Meghan replied, “This is Aunt Eileen for you,” and the talk show host accepted, “That’s why I don’t have children.”

Speaking of living in the Montecito mansion, Meghan admitted that the Sussexes were “happy” with life.

Since moving to the United States, Harry and Meghan have targeted the royal family in many interviews about the lives they lead and the way Meghan has been treated.

In an interview with Oprah, Meghan alleged racism against a member of the royal family who questioned the color of her first child and that she had “suicidal thoughts” because of her misery in England.

Harry also said he realized he needed to break the life cycle in the royal family and raise his children in a different environment.

But while Buckingham Palace may be concerned about whether Meghan will make new allegations, the interview clip with Elaine instead focused on other topics.

Daniel Martin, Meghan’s makeup artist, said the interview looked at her “funny side”.

He said: We [he and hairstylist Jason Low] They were behind the scenes the whole time. “It’s really fun and Elaine really pulled off the goofy and funny side of Meghan, which everyone will finally be able to see.”

The clip that once again hinted at Meghan’s alleged financial woes when she began her acting career may be skipped because she was still able to attend a private school paid for by her father, Thomas Markle.

Meghan has also posted on social media in the past about regularly eating out at expensive restaurants in Hollywood including Musso and Frank Grill.

Meghan added: “I would park my car at gate three and I would ride fast and I would always say to the security guards here ‘Break a leg, I hope you get it’.”

“So driving today was completely different.”
