Nadine Coyle is said to have suggested that Girls Out Loud could meet in fours after Sarah Harding’s death.

Harding passed away on September 5 at the age of 39 after revealing in August last year that she had had breast cancer, which had spread to other parts of her body.

She was one of five members of Girls Aloud, along with Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Kimberly Walsh, and Nadine Coyle.

The group produced five studio albums during their time together, including the hits Sound Of The Underground and The Promise.

Coyle has now said that Harding’s death provided her with impetus, hinting that the band could be reformed to be a four-piece on the anniversary of Harding’s death.

“The past year or two has shown that life can change very quickly,” she told The Mirror.

“You taught me that life is too precious to be put off to the future.

“It’s so surreal for me to think of Girls Aloud as four.

“But it’s our 20th anniversary next year and it would be really cool to do something for the fans.

“I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved together as a band.”

A source close to the group told the newspaper that they thought they would fit in to celebrate Harding’s life and the band’s accomplishments.

They said: “Obviously the anniversary will be very different from what was originally planned.

“But when the time is right, the girls will do something to honor Sarah and all her accomplishments together.”
