I’m a celebrity…get me out of here! No live broadcasts tonight due to Storm Irwin.

Bad weather means ITV has changed its plans to broadcast tonight, Wells Online reports.

Contestants will remain inside Gwrych Castle and hosts Ant and Dec will pre-record their ties early in the evening.

A statement from I’m a Celebrity reads, “Tonight I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! It will be broadcast as a pre-recorded show instead of live due to the development of Storm Arwen and the precautionary measures we are putting into place on production.”

Ant & Dec will record their links early in the evening and those links will be up and running during tonight’s show.

“Our celebrities will remain inside the castle which is safe and we have emergency coverage for all weather scenarios to ensure the safety of our crew and crew.”

ITV said the developing storm is set to hit the local area at around 9 p.m., just when the show airs.

The radio added that the program was previously recorded due to concerns that the satellite link could be affected.

According to The Mirror, this is the first time in 19 years that a celebrity Anna has stopped a live show.

It comes a day after Richard Madley was forced out of the competition.

The Good Morning Britain host has announced he will have to quit the show after being taken to hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning.

In a statement, Richard said he was “absolutely fine” but the trip to A&E meant he “has thus broken the Covid bubble” and will not be able to return to competition.
