3.0 earthquake strikes parts of southern Utah

PANGWISH, Utah (AFP) – A slight earthquake hit parts of southern Utah on Friday morning.

The US Geological Survey said the earthquake had an initial magnitude of 3.0 and its epicenter was 7 miles west of Panguitch. It happened around 6:40 a.m., and earthquakes of this size were among the smallest that people generally feel.
