The men were arrested on suspicion of murder after the disappearance of a mother from Kent.

Her disappearance, which is “completely out of character”, is being treated as a possible murder by the Kent Police.

A 40-year-old man from St Leonard-on-Sea, East Sussex, was arrested on Thursday. Then a 53-year-old man, from Hastings, East Sussex, was arrested on Friday.

Both are still in police custody.

Police released a white Mini Cooper photo of Ms. Morgan with a black roof and registration number MF55 YHM.

Officers established that the car made trips between her home and toward the Hastings area on Sunday, November 14, and Monday, November 15.

Kent Police officers, with the support of Sussex Police, are searching four locations in the Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea area as they try to find Mrs Morgan.

Residents can expect to see a heavy police presence as investigations continue.

Chief Detective Neil Kemper, of the Serious Crimes Directorate in Kent and Essex, said: “Not having contact with her family is completely out of reach for Alexandra, and we are now treating this case as a possible murder.

“As we continue our investigation, I would urge anyone who may have seen a white Alexandra or a black-roofed Mini Cooper to contact us.

“If you think you’ve seen Alexandra or something is suspicious but aren’t sure, please don’t hesitate to call and tell us.”

Anyone who has seen Ms Morgan or her car is urged to call Kent Police at 101, citing the reference number 0280-18.
