Strictly: Giovanni says that dancing with Rose makes him happy

Giovanni Bernice has denied reports that he is dating Verity Bowditch.

The Strictly Come Dancing segment was said to have had “secret dates” with the Made in Chelsea star – just weeks after her split from Maura Higgins.

The Sun reported that a close friend of the Italian dancer said the star had “fallen upside down” to the E4 star.

However, Giovanni took to social media on Sunday to speak for himself and put things right.

“Happy Sunday, beautiful people. He always wants to tell the truth here,” he began his statement to his 677,000 followers.

“It’s news to me that I’m dating, I didn’t know anything about it.”

Throughout the post, the professional dancer used a lot of deceptive emojis to ridicule the rumors surrounding his love life.

He continued, “Right now, you know, it’s all about ballroom dancing, which is pretty cool, baby.

“That’s the truth, no drama here. Have a great day – ‘Sun’ is shining? gio x.”

Giovanni is currently expected to win the Glitterball Cup with his famous partner, EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis, 27.

The series and actress have also been subject to rumors of a romantic relationship due to the amazing chemistry on the dance floor.

Despite constant speculation, it appears that the soap star is still happy with Samuel Arnold, her boyfriend of seven years.

Last month, Giovanni shocked fans when he talked about his relationship with Love Island star Mora – after less than six months of dating.

The couple confirmed their romance back in July, with matching snapshots on social media, and they seemed to be very much in love.

However, the stern curse seems to be back again, and the couple have called on him to quit – with Giovanni reportedly instigating the separation.

Reality TV star Mora was said to be “shattered” by the split at the time.

GLOW UP: The Irish presenter has deleted every trace of their relationship on her social media channels, reportedly telling her friends that she “must move on” and recover from the heartbreak.

The Irish beauty is the only famous lady Giovanni has listened to over the years.

Before embarking on a relationship with Maura, the Italian dancer was linked with fellow professional dancer Luba Muchstock, TOWIE star Jess Wright, her former celebrity partner Georgia Mayfoot and Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts.

After denying reports of a new romance, the stern star appears to be focused on raising the Glitterball Cup with Rose next month.

The stars are now the nominees for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing series, following the admiration of viewers and judges.

Some bookmakers offer less than 2/9 chances of Rose and Giovanni being crowned champions, with John White and Johannes Radebe finishing second by nearly 6/1.
