Jurgen Klopp speaks to Everton as Ibrahim Konate worries Liverpool – John Aldridge

Thiago may have given the ball more far than ever on Saturday, especially early on, but he then developed into the game.

If you don’t buy a ticket, you won’t win the prize. He now attaches it to the edge of the box. He’s got a great shot on him, as we saw last week in the Champions League against Porto.

He only had a short back pull, so getting the strength he generated was amazing. It’s great to see him in between the goals, we need the midfielders to score because we can’t rely on the attackers alone.

And he’s a great player for someone like Tyler Morton to learn from.

I’ve seen a lot of Tyler playing when commenting on LFC TV. He is neat and tidy and the manager saw something in him to give him a chance.

He did really well in the matches he played, especially for a boy his age. It’s great for the academy.

Credit to Alex Inglethorpe and all of the academy coaches, it’s important that they push these players forward.

I hope to be a first-team player for years to come. He has been with the club since he was six years old. He loves the club, his family loves the club and that’s what you want to see.

Konate has to improve one thing

Konate learns from the best. I think I can play alongside Van Dijk at the moment!

He did just fine but he really needs to work on his address. He’s 6 feet 4 feet tall and built like a brick house, he’s really good on a deck but when he’s attacking the ball he needs to work on it because he’s not attacking it like he should in the air.

He lets it bounce off his head sometimes when he should come to center attack and attack the ball and walk away from it.

Must read Liverpool FC news

This is a part of the game that is dying, and heading, but it’s something that needs to be worked on. It looks great in every way, but due to its size, it needs to work on it for me.

Liverpool has the derby points to settle

It wasn’t nice last year at Goodison. All that could have gone against Liverpool, went against Liverpool.

And they beat us at Anfield, let’s not forget that.

Let’s try to get things back to normal. I think some players will want to liquidate the result from Liverpool’s point of view.

What happened to Van Dyck and Thiago was bad. Everyone knows what happened and I don’t think the manager would need the team talk.

It’s a tough game, a derby, and the fans will be ready for it. We all know what it feels like, it’s always tough.

Everton is where you are at the moment where you don’t want to be but this is for one time. It’s like a draw in the FA Cup, to get the fans back together again.

The reaction after Brentford towards the players was incredible. This is not like the Everton fans. Right or wrong, they’re very frustrated right now.

There is a lot of pressure on Everton and Liverpool just to play their regular game.

Don’t get involved in any fights and let the football do the talking. Form goes out the window in these games sometimes, so they have to be careful.
