Nick Cannon has announced that his seventh and youngest child, Zane, has died of a brain tumor.
The actor and singer shared the tragic news with viewers on The Nick Cannon Show on Tuesday and said the five-month-old has passed away.
Zane’s health worsened over Thanksgiving, as the star explained how his brain tumor grew at a rapid pace.
He explained, “Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer.
“It’s hard or rough. I have my therapist here, who has been helping us through it.”
Nick was tearing up when he told the audience that he had spent the previous weekend in California with Zen.

On Sunday, the family went to the ocean so the star could hold his little one for one of the last times. He passed away shortly after.
Nick said during the episode that he got back to work so quickly after the tragedy because he needed to get busy.
He said the episode was a “celebration of life” for Zen and explained, “You can’t heal until you feel.”
Zen was born in June, with the Masked Singer host sharing the photo of the newborn to his Instagram Stories at the time.
He captioned the photo of a sleeping zen: “Introducing Zen Scott Cannon aka Z Chillin”.

When Zain was only two months old, the family noticed that the little boy had a cough and was having trouble breathing
“We didn’t think of anything,” Nick explained. “But I wanted to take him to the doctor because of my sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.”
Doctors told the family that the child had a buildup of fluid in his head and that it was unfortunately a tumour.
He underwent brain surgery but things didn’t improve.
The Wild “N Out” star shares two children with Mariah Carey – twins Morocco and Monroe.
