Their grandmother said that a hurricane carried two children in the bathroom, but they were relatively unharmed.
15-month-old Clara Lutz Kaden and three-month-old Dallas were placed in a bathtub to protect them as deadly tornadoes wreaked havoc in the United States last week.
She told a local TV station she left them with a blanket, pillow, and Bible before the home in Hopkins County, Kentucky, started shaking.

“The next thing I knew,” she said, “that the pelvis had lifted and was from my hand.” “I couldn’t stand it…”
Mrs. Lutz hit her in the head with the water tank from the bathroom, ripping it off the floor and her house down to its foundations.
She told WFIE-TV that she searched hard for her grandchildren amid the wreckage of a hurricane last Friday.

She said, “All I can say is, ‘Lord, please bring my children back safe. Please, I beg of you.'”
Fortunately, with the help of the mayor’s officials, the pigeon was found upside down in her garden with the boys under it still dry from the rain.
They led Mrs. Lutz to the end of her lane where she was reunited with the boys.

Dallas sustained a massive blow to the head and was rushed to the hospital with some bleeding but it stopped when they arrived.
At least 90 people died in several states last week – the vast majority in Kentucky – after dozens of tornadoes swept through the central United States.
