The Seven Network confirms it is responding after an employee working for the Ashes broadcast at MCG tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday night.
The employee was asymptomatic at the time of testing and was in self-isolation from the moment the positive result was returned.
Seven is activating its own Covid measures to ensure the health and safety of all employees, as well as the wider community, and is operating in line with all relevant guidelines and regulations. We work closely with the MCG and Cricket Australia operational team.
