Colombo (first news); A 4.3-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Bay of Bengal, about 300 km off the eastern coast of Sri Lanka.
This was confirmed by the Bureau of Geological Survey and Mines of Sri Lanka.
According to the Indian National Center of Seismology, the depth of this earthquake was 21 kilometers.
