According to the National Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was in Tajikistan, Afghanistan and the border region.
The earthquakes were also felt in areas of Peshawar, Swat, Swabi, Lower Dir, Nowshera, and the surrounding areas.
The Pakistan Disaster Management Authority said it had not received any reports of loss of life or property.
A 4.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Karachi last month, with tremors felt in northern, central and parts of the city.
