Ramsey ‘rejects’ Burnley style
It has been reported in Italy that Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is ready to return to the Premier League, but has turned down the opportunity to deal with Burnley.
Ramsey is surplus to requirements with the Italian giants and could move in this month, with transport expert Gianluca Di Marzio noting that an offer from Turf Moore had been rejected.
“I can confirm that one of the Juventus players, Ramsey, may return to the Premier League,” Di Marzio told Sky Sports Italia.
“He had an official offer from Burnley but he said ‘No’, he doesn’t want to play for Burnley.
“He wants to play a more challenging team, an ambitious team in the Premier League.
“Newcastle asked about him before Christmas so we will see in January if some Premier League teams want Ramsey.
“He would like to return because now, at Juventus, he is in a difficult situation.”
