Molly May Heig has been criticized for comments she made about her success after insisting that “we all have the same 24 hours in a day” in a recent podcast.
The reality star, 22, made it to ITV2’s Love Island in 2019 when she and boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 22, took second place.

Nearly three years after appearing on the series, Molly has seen her career as an influencer reach new heights, launching her own fake brand, and also becoming the creative director of Pretty Little Thing.
The businesswoman is believed to be worth around £2 million, with the PLT deal worth seven figures.
Despite this, some have now described Molly as “tone deaf” after comments on last month’s The Diary Of A CEO podcast in which she criticized earlier criticism.
She said, “You’re given one life and it’s up to you what you do with it. You can literally go in any direction.”
“When I’ve talked about it in the past, I’ve been criticized quite a bit, with people saying ‘It’s easy for you to say that because you didn’t grow up in poverty, so you have to sit there and say we all have the same 24 hours in a day is not true.
“But, technically, what I’m saying is true. We do,” the TV personality continued.
“So I understand that we all have different backgrounds and we all grew up in different ways and have different financial situations, but I think if you want something enough, you can achieve it.
“It just depends on the lengths you want to get to where you want to be in the future. I will go to any length.
She concluded, “I worked my absolute ** to get to where I am now.”
In light of Molly’s comments resurfacing online, many have taken to social media to express their grievances with vaccinated feelings, noting that she has participated in one of the UK’s biggest reality shows and has endorsement deals waiting on her.
One of them tweeted: “I just got on a TV dating show and got deals with brands, not sure they’ve worked here non-stop.”
Another commented, “So funny that people have gassed it that it feels good to be able to say this.” “She’s always been easy going and she has to say this tune is very deaf.”
A third shared: “Ngl I love Molly Mae but if you’ve never been in poverty before, you’ll never know how hard it is to get out of poverty, it’s an endless loop.
“Yes life is what you make of it but it also helps when you don’t need to worry about what you or your family are having for dinner.”
Another wrote, “I respect Molly Mae for taking advantage of her opportunity and taking it with both hands, but I feel like quoting everyone who spends the same time a day with Beyoncé.”
“The truth is that social inequality means that there will never be a level playing field.”
