Donald Trump’s new media project plans to launch the social media app Truth Social on February 21, according to an Apple Inc. app store listing.

Truth Social, the alternative to Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) for Twitter, is available for pre-order ahead of the US Presidents Day holiday.

Similar to Twitter, the app offers features to follow other people and trending topics, according to beta images.

The launch of the app will come 13 months after Meta Platforms Inc’s Facebook and Twitter banned the former US president for encouraging his supporters to participate in the January 6 attack on the US Capitol based on unfounded allegations of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

On the first anniversary of the attack, Joe Biden said Thursday that his predecessor’s false claims could undermine the rule of law and upend future elections.

TMTG and Apple did not respond to requests for comment, but an informed source confirmed that February 21 is the planned launch date for the app.

The launch is expected to be the first of three phases in TMG’s development. The second will be a subscription video-on-demand service called TMTG+ with entertainment, news and podcasts, according to the company’s website. An investor presentation in November indicated that TMTG also wants to launch a podcast network.

TMTG is currently worth $4.3 billion based on the share price of Digital World Acquisition Corp. TMTG agreed in October to merge with the $875 million blank check company.

Trump supporters and retail investors have acquired shares of Digital World, betting that Trump’s popularity with his Republican political base will translate into a runaway business success.

The blank check takeover deal faces regulatory risks. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren asked Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler last month to investigate the planned merger for possible violations of disclosure-related securities laws. The Securities and Exchange Commission declined to comment on whether it plans any action.

TMTG last month raised an additional $1 billion from private investors.
