Several months ago, the ZOE Covid study helped identify more than 20 symptoms, most of which are mild, similar to those of a cold.
Although Omicron may feel like a cold to many of us, “it can still go into hospital and eventually kill people and leave them with long-term symptoms that disrupt their daily lives,” ZOE scientists warn.
Increased transmissibility of the variant increases hospital admissions, although rates are much lower than those seen in previous waves.
