Magnitude 4.9 earthquake strikes Pasar district, Arunachal Pradesh

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit the Pasar district of Arunachal Pradesh in the early hours of Tuesday morning, the National Center for Seismology said. According to the National Statistics Center, the tremors had a depth of 10 km and occurred at 4.30 am, 148 km north-northwest of the city of Pasar.

“Earthquake, Magnitude: 4.9, Happened on 01-18-2022, 04:29:30 India Time, Latitude: 29.16 & Long: 93.97, Depth: 10 km, Location: 148 km NW Pasar, Arunachal Pradesh, India,” she tweeted NCS.
