Bello: Give the manager’s job to Ferguson until the end of the season
Former professional boxer and Everton fan Tony Bellew believes Duncan Ferguson should be given the position of Everton manager until the end of the season.
Certainly the Blues are in a very big relegation, Bello has backed the ex-Everton striker to make an ‘impact’ if he is hired.
Ferguson, of course, has previously taken on the role of interim president after Marco Silva’s exit and Bello wants to see the Scotsman called again.
He told talkSPORT: “For me now we just have to be really careful about when and we have to assess where we are, what we are going through at the moment, with Everton Football Club.”
“Let me tell you now, we’re in a struggle to go down and have to get out of it, it’s that simple.”
“Give it to Duncan until the end of the season,” he added.
“Give him a good chance at it and see how it goes, I think a lot of fans will love to see him.
“We just need an impact, and if anyone is going to make an impact, it could be Duncan Ferguson.”
