Reports of vibrations emerged after a minor earthquake hit the Saguigny-Lac-Saint-Jean region in central Quebec on Wednesday evening.
According to the Canada Earthquake website, the earthquake was recorded with a magnitude of 2.6 and was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The quake struck 39 km west of Chicoutimi-Jonquiere, Keio State. While there were no reports of damage or injuries, the earthquake was felt mildly by neighboring communities, with many reports coming in soon after it occurred.
