ADELE’s dramatic cancellation of her Las Vegas concerts followed a series of explosive queues around the stage that derailed the production.

The star left fans – some of whom have paid as much as £9,000 for tickets – devastated when she announced this week that her shows at Caesars Palace would not continue.

“So there was a constant bounce between these two versions of what the show should be, and it caused some very explosive arguments.

“Most of the shows have appearance issues of one kind or another, but there has been a sense for some time that these shows were on their way to disaster.

“Adele is known to be very anxious when it comes to live performances, so it’s hard to imagine her going forward if she isn’t happy.”

While Adele’s shows sold out immediately online during the pre-sale period, prices on resale sites reportedly began dropping earlier this month.

It is worth noting that a statement issued by Caesars Palace last week did not mention Covid, but noted: “Creating a display of this scale is incredibly complex.”

The source added, “Adele was very excited about these offers. But when it came to that, there was so much hesitation and conflict that they didn’t work out.”
