i24 News – Early Sunday afternoon, an earthquake was felt in northern Israel.
This is the second time in 12 hours that residents have felt earthquakes, after residents across Israel reported an earthquake in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The first earthquake was recorded at 3.7 on the Richter scale, and the second, slightly weaker, at 3.5.
There were no reports of injuries or tsunami warnings as a result of these two events.
The two earthquakes come two weeks after a 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Cyprus, shaking homes as far away as Israel and neighboring countries.
Experts in Israel warn that the country may experience a large-scale earthquake in the near future.
