Janet Street-Porter, a member of the outspoken 75-year-old women’s panel, has once again criticized Adele, calling her a “self-obsessed,” “weak” and a “singer” after she canceled her upcoming Las Vegas residency because the show “didn’t Wasn’t ready.

In a new column, Janet claimed the 33-year-old “should be embarrassed” to leave the show off the shelf.

Writing for MailOnline, Janet said, “I don’t know which was more surprising; Adele’s feeble attempts to apologize to the camera with a show of perfect nails, addressing regular people as if we were queuing up for a bag of fish and chips (her actual words ‘my show isn’t ready’)— Or naked – I faced the trick to come to this decision just two days before kick-off.”

Ms Street Porter added that Adele’s apology would not “set back the hundreds of thousands of dollars” that fans spent on their tickets, hotels and flights, and said she had treated her fans “appallingly”.

She continued, “She has been on the journey from a wealthy woman to an incredibly wealthy international star.

“That doesn’t give you the right to treat fans so appallingly, in the hope that a sarcastic apology will soften the blow.”

Accommodation tickets cost between £62 ($85) and £3,864 ($5,000).

Many of Adele’s fans sympathized with her decision to postpone the show, but others were outraged.

Veronica responded to her apology on Instagram: “You have a net worth of $220 million and that’s thanks to your fans who have always supported you. Having such short notice to cancel is unacceptable for a show that will take place tomorrow…Pay and refund all expenses invested by all these people to see and support you.
