Earthquake notifications
In Kyushu on January 22, 2022
On Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:08 (Japan time), a moderate-intensity earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck the eastern part of the Kyushu region.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by this earthquake.
There were no injuries or property damage to SMC facilities as a result of this earthquake. As such, SMC maintains normal operations.
