Scotland is set to be battered by more high winds today and this evening as Storm Corrie hits large parts of the country.
The Met Office has issued a severe Amber weather warning for Sunday evening into Monday morning for high winds in the northern part of the country.
It comes after Storm Malik caused destruction across Scotland with one woman killed after being hit by a falling tree in Aberdeen.
Thousands of people in the north-east were left without power yesterday, while nearly 200 trains were canceled throughout Saturday.
Football matches were also called off due to fear there could be structural damage to stands.
Meanwhile, Nicola Sturgeon chaired a Scottish Government resilience meeting on Saturday as winds of more than 100mph were recorded.
On Twitter, Sturgeon said the impact of Storm Malik had been “severe”, but that Storm Corrie – due to hit from Sunday afternoon – “may be more severe for parts of Scotland”.
