Ian Blackford was kicked out of the House of Commons after Boris Johnson bombed the party gate

SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford has been ordered to leave the House of Commons during a heated debate over Boris Johnson and the party’s gateway.

House Speaker Lindsey Hoyle made the decision after Blackford repeatedly refused to withdraw his claim that Johnson had misled the House.

This came after civil servant Sue Gray published a limited edition of her report on the closing parties in Downing Street.

Despite the limitations imposed by the police investigation, Gray criticized behavior that she said was “difficult to justify” and amounted to “serious” driving failures.

In the House of Commons, Johnson faced heavy criticism from political opponents over the Lockdown parties, including from Blackford.

Hoyle asked Blackford to confirm whether he had withdrawn allegations that the Prime Minister had misled the House.

Blackford responded: “The Prime Minister may have inadvertently misled the House.”

Sir Lindsey responded, “To help me assist the House of Representatives, I have inadvertently withdrawn and replaced your previous comment?”

“It is not my fault if the prime minister cannot be trusted to tell the truth,” Blackford said.

Amid loud shouts from the Conservative seats, the Speaker said: “By the authority vested in me by Standing Order 43, I order the Honorable Member to withdraw immediately from the House.”

Blackford walked out of the chamber before the Speaker could finish, with Sir Lindsey remarking: ‘All is well, we need not worry’.
