Another fun week in Nintendo Life ended, and it included some interesting news. Perhaps the highlight was Nintendo’s third-quarter financial results, which generally showed that Nintendo was making a lot of money; Even shareholders are relatively happy, Crick. For NFT watchers, many projects have been abandoned on this front, while elsewhere, MLB The Show 22 is coming to Switch (!), Yacht Club Games has unveiled Mina the Hollower (she’s really good), and Pokemon Legends: Arceus sold well because of course it has.
Also, as a small note, the now beautiful John Cartwright has left Nintendo Life to pursue an exciting new opportunity, and we wish him well.
After all that, it’s time to relax and discuss plans for the weekend games. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then join them through our comments section. Enjoy!

It’s been a busy week, so I’ve made little or no progress, over the past five days, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I’m planning on getting involved with that, and I have a mini review to work on as well which should be fun.
Elsewhere I still enjoy Hitman 1 with the recent ‘Trilogy’ release; I managed to kill someone with a giant moose ornament, so it looks like I’m swinging it. I’ve also started another theater show for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order because I’m a fan and an engineer.

I haven’t finished Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but I’m a lot more interested in the challenging exploration parts of boss fights, and I can feel like I’m talking about some big fights, so I might be playing something else for a while! Maybe murder by numbers? It’s a fun Picross/Ace Attorney combination.
I just got a Skyward Sword, because there was a double gold points deal and got 10% off an eShop gift card with our handy code “NLIFE10”. Not only do I do an ad here, it was really nice to get a little discount. But I’m not allowed to play that until my partner finishes his big business project that won’t last until March

Another GameCube weekend with The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and SoulCalibur II. I’ll probably finish my Front Mission campaign on Super Nintendo as well.
Game of the week is Bloodroots. The arrival of this unexpected physical copy late in the week ensures that this weekend will be a fun time (literally).

If you knew last weekend that I said I wouldn’t buy Pokémon Legends: Arceus yet? Well, I got it wrong…sorry. I’ve been playing it on and off for about a week and have just struggled with the Kleavor thingy so hopefully this weekend I can spend a few hours here and there and make some decent progress.
I don’t have any other plans at the moment. Honestly, I’m just eagerly awaiting the launch of the first global premiere next week; This game looks great and I think it’s great that they named it after me.

Hello. This weekend, if I can find a little free time, I’ll grab my Switch and try to hide somewhere my kids and wife can’t find it until I can finally make some actual progress in both Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Dungeon encounters.
I love these two games so far, and Arceus is actually my first proper jaunt into a Pokémon joint, so I’m determined to stick with them and finish them off without getting distracted by something else. I recently picked up a Sturmwind EX and am having an absolute blast with it, so I might try to intercept for a few hours with that as well. Have a good weekend no matter what you want or play!
As usual, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
