Supermarkets have issued a number of product recalls for items including everything from chocolates to baby mugs.
Anyone who has purchased an item is urged not to use it, and instead to contact the company or return to the store for a refund or replacement.
In most cases, you don’t need to get your receipt to get your money back, The Mirror reports.
For all product recalls, you can check the Food and Trade Standards Agency websites.
Aldi – Moser Roth The Collection Milk, white and dark chocolate
Aldi is recalling certain packages from its cartons of Moser Roth The Collection Milk and white and dark chocolate because they contain eggs not mentioned on the label.
This means that the product poses a health risk to a person who is allergic to eggs.
All batch codes are included in the return, and the box of chocolates bears product number 16105.
Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Boots – Nuby Cups for Kids
Asda, Boots, Morrisons, and Tesco recall the Nuby Incredible Gulp and Super Quench mugs due to concerns they might pose a choking hazard.
Cups purchased between November 1, 2021 and January 14, 2022 with batch codes WF10V and WG08V have been recalled by Nuby.
The same problem affects mugs purchased directly from the Nuby UK website.
Newbies said the mouth section of the cup spout could rupture if the straw or spout was damaged.
Waitrose – Prosciutto Cappelletti, Cheese and Smoked Ham
Waitrose is withdrawing its own brand of Prosciutto Cappelletti, Essentials Cheese and Smoked Ham Tortelloni due to undisclosed pistachios.
This means that the products pose potential health risks for anyone allergic to nuts.
The Waitrose Prosciutto Cappelletti recall comes in a 310g pack size, with dates used February 20 and February 21, 2022, and is included in the warning.
Waitrose basic cheese and smoked tortelloni that you shouldn’t eat if you have a nut allergy, comes in a size of 300g and is used up by February 21, 2022.
Fruit Yogurt
Certain packages of yoghurt with fries have been recalled because they may contain metal parts.
Packs pulled are Frubes Strawberry, Red Berry, and Peach Variety Pack 9x37g.
They have a better date before February 9, 2022 and batch code 9218195.
Only products marked “C” after the expiration date are affected, and displayed as “09 Feb C” on the package.
None of the other Yoplait or Frubes products are affected by the return.
