Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Southampton in the Premier League today, with kick-off at 12:30pm GMT from Old Trafford.
Ralf Rangnick’s side are without a win in either of their last two matches and know that three points today will be crucial in their bid for a top-four finish at the end of the campaign.
United are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games against Southampton (W5 D6) since a 1-0 home loss in January 2016. In fact, the Saints have won just two of their 22 Premier League away games at Old Trafford (D4 L16) , losing this exact fixture 9-0 last season.
In terms of early team news, Fred will miss the match after a COVID setback but Brazilian teammate Alex Telles could be involved after returning to training this week.
